Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral from a physician to see you?
No! You do not need a referral from your physician to see me. I am happy to send notes or contact your physician during your evaluation/treatment process.
How does a concierge/home visit work?
Once you request a free phone consultation, we schedule an in-home evaluation at a time that works for you. I bring all the necessary equipment to your home and tailor the session to your environment.
What should I expect during my first visit?
The initial evaluation includes:
Comprehensive vestibular and neurologic assessment
Diagnosis of your dizziness or balance problem
Initial treatment, if appropriate
A home exercise program tailored to your needs (if appropriate)
Follow-up sessions focus on ongoing treatment and progress tracking.
Can you do virtual sessions?
Yes, but depending on your condition I may recommend in-person to provide the highest level of care. If you are out of the area, I am happy to provide a virtual consultation and depending on the results can refer you to a specialist in your area.
What area do you serve?
I provide in-home vestibular and balance therapy throughout Sacramento and surrounding neighborhoods. If outside the area we can discuss, radius fees may be added.
Do you take insurance?
Turley Physical Therapy is a cash-based concierge practice. While I do not bill insurance directly, you may be able to submit receipts for reimbursement through your provider — check with your insurance company for coverage details.
Do you accept Medicare?
Turley Physical Therapy & Wellness is a cash-based practice and not enrolled with Medicare. Federal law prevents physical therapists from accepting cash payment for services that are typically covered by Medicare (such as treatment for vertigo, balance, or dizziness). However, I do offer separate Wellness & Balance programs for those looking to improve steadiness, prevent falls, and stay active.
